Asphalt shingle in Arizona takes a different kind of beating than it does anywhere with a winter. There is no freeze-thaw here — there is 115-degree air, deck temperatures well past that, and ultraviolet exposure that never really lets up. Shingles cure hard, granules shed, and the sealant strips let go at the edges where the wind gets under them.

That makes the boring parts decisive: a clean tear-off, decking replaced where the old roof leaked, starter course at the eaves and rakes, six nails where the wind exposure calls for it, and full ridge or box venting so the attic is not cooking the underside of the roof you just paid for. Ventilation is not an upsell in this climate — it is the difference between a shingle roof that ages and one that bakes.

We install architectural (dimensional) shingle, colour-match the vents and pipe jacks so the roof reads as one surface instead of a field of silver cans, and detail valleys, chimneys and wall transitions with metal rather than sealant. On manufactured and mobile homes we also handle shingle-to-metal transitions where the original panel roof meets a framed addition.
